As I
promised now I’m gonna show you how to bake some last-minute coconut-white
chocolate biscuits. Sadly, in the midst of today’s preparations I don’t have
enough time to write a post about the coconut roll, but worry not, it’s gonna
happen.
So. The
recipe.
Coconut, walnut and white-chocolate biscuits
120 g
walnut
100 g white
chocolate
85 g
coconut shreds
180 g flour
1 tsp
baking powder
150 g
butter or margarine
130 g granulated
sugar
1 egg
Step 1. Cut your walnuts and white chocolate into small
pieces.
Step 2. Mix your sugar and butter, then the coconut,
baking powder and the flour.
Step 3. Mix in your walnuts and white chocolate
pieces. The dough will be quite hard, but don’t worry, it’s supposed to be like
that.
Step 4. Heat your oven to 180°C. Line a baking tray
with baking parchment. Then take a piece of your dough, shape it into a ball,
flatten it, and put it on the tray.
Step 5. Bake your cookies for 12-14 minutes, or until
they’re golden brown. Take them out of the oven, and let them cool down. Then
eat every last one of them.
Happy New
Year everyone!
